Meet Your Counselor

“I’ve apparently been the victim of growing up, which apparently happens to all of us at one point or another. It’s been going on for quite some time now, without me knowing it. I’ve found that growing up can mean a lot of things.” It means loving Taylor Swift even more now than you did as a middle schooler. It means never losing sight of your childhood dreams, but constantly building upon their solid foundation. It means never compromising the values that are that foundation’s cornerstone. Most of all, it means making countless memories with fantastic family and friends and never forgetting just how important they are.

I’m just an average college kid. I know that a good education is a great value, but I also know that I’ll learn more from my friends and family than I’ll ever learn in a classroom. And that I’d much rather read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows than any textbook. I really, really love Taylor Swift. I’m a camp counselor, so I spend the summer months acting like a kid and the rest reminiscing about how awesome it is to get paid to do it. I’m addicted to Diet Coke. I love sports, especially college sports. I use and abuse my Netflix account. I watch way too much Grey’s Anatomy and even more How I Met Your Mother.  Did I mention that I love my summer camp? And I solemnly swear that I’m up to no good, absolutely all the time.
